‘Charles’, as it is affectionately known as by our guests, is a charming little cottage dating back to the 1860s. Built by the side of the Brecon to Monmouth canal, the cottage is brilliantly located in the heart of town. From the cottage, it is less than a 5-minute walk onto the scenic canal towpath and the centre of town.

Waun Yscir, meaning ‘river meadow’ in Welsh, is beautifully located on our family farm in the tranquil Yscir valley. The cottage was lovingly converted from a crumbling old barn in 2009 to the highest possible standard. The perfect base to relax, unwind and get away from it all.
The Brecon Beacons have become a magnet for tourists and it’s not hard to see why. With so many wonderful things to see and do in the area there really is something for everyone. Whether it’s walking, shopping or sightseeing, you’ll be sure to find plenty to entertain you during your stay.
