The perfect place for a night under the stars!

In 2012, the Brecon Beacons National Park became only the fifth destination in the world (and the first in Wales) to be designated a Dark Sky Reserve.

This accolade was given in recognition of the clear night skies that we have due to the lack of light pollution and CO2 emissions. On a clear night, you can see the Milky Way, major constellations and even meteor showers from our campsite. Imagine lying on your back gazing up at the thousands of glittering stars, with nothing but the sound of water flowing in the nearby river as your soundtrack. Just switch off, slow down and enjoy one of nature’s greatest spectacles.
