Charles’ Cottage
'Charles', as it is affectionately known as by our guests, is a charming little cottage dating back to the 1860s. Built by the side of the Brecon to Monmouth canal, the cottage is brilliantly located in the heart of town. From the cottage, it is less than a 5-minute walk onto the scenic canal towpath and the centre of town.
The cottage retains many of its original features, including exposed fireplaces, stone walls and beamed ceilings. Its chocolate box appeal and unbeatable central location make it the perfect bolthole for a romantic getaway. Close to shops, restaurants, the cinema and theatre, Charles provides the best of town and country.

Waun Yscir
Waun Yscir, meaning ‘river meadow’ in Welsh, is beautifully located on our family farm in the tranquil Yscir valley. The cottage was lovingly converted from a crumbling old barn in 2009 to the highest possible standard. It is the perfect base to relax, unwind and get away from it all.
The cottage enjoys panoramic views of the surrounding rolling countryside, with Red Kites soaring overhead and some of the finest dark skies you will ever see.
You can enjoy star gazing on a clear night from the comfort of the hot tub with a glass of complimentary prosecco in your hand. How about walking some of the best-loved footpaths in the Brecon Beacons and coming back to light the log burner and unwind in front of the fire.
